Hashery's annual cannabis judging event: curated kits, scored blind by New Jersey budtenders, operators, and retail crews.
The format
Every year our buyers walk the harvest floor, pull the jars that hit different, and box them up into one kit: small-batch flower, sealed pre-rolls, live-resin concentrates from independent New Jersey growers, with a couple of out-of-state craft brands thrown in for context. Judges score every product blind on aroma, structure, and burn. The scoring window closes, votes get tallied, and the winners get announced on the menu and in the shop.
Right now
Judging runs in cycles, not on a clock. When a kit is live, it goes up on the menu and sells out in days. When a kit is not live, the brands that earned a slot still rotate through the regular Hashery catalog as their harvests come in.

The lineup
Best in Grass leans hard toward independent New Jersey growers and small craft brands that don’t usually compete for shelf space against the big MSOs. That is the whole point. These are the drops our buyers are already tasting every week behind the counter, the kit is just the version where the rest of the state gets to taste them too.

We put together a kit of small-batch flower, pre-rolls, and concentrates, ship it to judges (budtenders, operators, retail crews from across the state), they score every jar blind on aroma, look, and burn, and the winners get announced once scoring closes. It is the version of New Jersey weed we are most proud to put on the bar.
Kits only drop during the active event window each year. Between cycles the kit is off-menu, so the answer is usually no, but the brands that earned a spot in past kits stay on the live menu when they are in stock. Want a heads up next time? Pickup at our Hackensack store at 409 NJ-17, and selectively via Bergen County delivery. Quantities are small on purpose, every product has to be tested and sealed by the cultivator before it goes in the box, so historically the kits sell out within a few days of the drop announcement.
