How it works
Pick up your kit at Hashery in Hackensack starting Saturday, August 22, 2026. Limited supply, first come, first served.
Scan the code in your kit or head to bestingrass.app, enter your access code, and create your profile. Use your Hashery rewards email so your entry counts.
Sample each product at home and rate it blind on aroma, flavor, effects, and burn over the weeks that follow. Every score is anonymous.
Finish your surveys by Sunday, October 18, 2026 to earn Hashery store credit and free entry to the Awards Show.
The format
Best in Grass comes from the team behind the world’s largest cannabis competitions. Cultivators and processors submit their best work, the BiG team builds one-of-a-kind Judge Kits distributed by dispensaries across the state, and everyday consumers score every product anonymously at home over the weeks that follow. All of that feedback goes back to the brands, and the winners are crowned live at the Awards Show.

Grab your kit at Hashery, 409 NJ-17 in Hackensack, and selectively via Bergen County delivery. Quantities are small on purpose because every product is tested and sealed by the cultivator before it goes in the box, so kits historically sell out within a few days of the drop.
Pick up a Judge Kit at Hashery (first come, first served), then register at https://bestingrass.app with the access code in your kit and create your profile. Use the same email as your Hashery rewards account so your entry counts, then score every product honestly before the Sunday, October 18, 2026 deadline.
Judges who complete every survey in their kit earn Hashery store credit and free entry to the Best in Grass Awards Show, plus a say in which New Jersey brands take home a trophy. Your feedback is what actually decides the winners.
Yes. The New Jersey winners are crowned in person Thursday, November 12, 2026 at Starland Ballroom, Sayreville, NJ. Judges who complete their kit get in free; tickets are available through the official Best in Grass site.
